Union City Police officers arrested a rideshare driver accused of sexually assaulting a woman, police announced Thursday. 

On July 14, Kevin Barillas-Saballos, of San Francisco, picked up a woman in San Francisco and drove her to Union City, police said. 

During the ride, police say the driver sexually assaulted the victim who was intoxicated. 

Police were able to identify the driver as Saballos and issued a warrant for his arrest. 

On Tuesday, officers arrested the 30-year-old at this place of employment in South San Francisco. 

Investigators say Saballos was employed by Uber but was not working at the time of the incident. 

On Thursday, Saballos was arraigned in court and charged with False Imprisonment, Kidnapping, Sexual Assault, Sexual Battery and Criminal Threats.
