SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — An alleged road range incident in downtown San Francisco left a bicyclist injured and resulted in one arrest.

On Thursday around 4:55 p.m. a female driving a Hyundai allegedly got into a verbal argument with a bicyclist near 4th and Market streets, according to police.

The bicyclist, a 26-year-old male, then banged on the window of the female’s car, before proceeding to ride in front of the Hyundai. The driver then allegedly ran over the bicyclist, according to police.

The victim suffered a fractured back and lacerations to his pelvis. He was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

The driver of the Hyundai, an 18-year old female, was arrested. Police have no released her identity.Bay City News contributed to this report.
