A Mega Millions ticket sold in San Francisco has matched 5 of 6 numbers on Tuesday night, lottery officials said.

There were no $1.6 billion jackpot winners in California, but there were a total of eight tickets sold in the state that matched 5 of 6 numbers.

Such winning tickets were also sold in San Luis Obispo, Stockton, Rancho Cucamonga, San Diego, Chatsworth, Arcadia, Norwalk.

The exact amount of money those eight lucky people won has not been determined, but they will get life-changing money.

If nobody in the country wins the big one, the jackpot will be an estimated $2 billion on Friday.
