LAFAYETTE (KRON) — Thousands of residents are without power Friday night in Lafayette, Walnut Creek and Moraga, according to PG&E.
The utility company said around 7:16 p.m. that 10,165 customers were impacted by the outage primarily in Lafayette.
By 8:30 p.m., that number went down to 2,200.
The preliminary cause of the outage is weather.
There is no estimated time that the power could return.
As of 7 p.m., it was 80 degrees in Lafayette.
