(KRON) — Protesters in Oakland threw red peel-off paint on the front doors of police headquarters Thursday evening.
The peel-off paint was tossed on the doors when thousands of protesters were marching through downtown.KRON4’S COVERAGE OF PROTESTS
The protests which started at Frank Ogawa Plaza early Thursday evening were peaceful with many people chanting and carrying signs protesting two police killings this week. Those shootings happened in Louisiana and Minnesota both were captured on cell video.

Also Thursday evening Dallas police say four officers have died after at least two snipers opened fire during protests downtown. Seven other officers were wounded.
Police Chief David O. Brown said snipers shot from “elevated positions” during a protest over two recent fatal police shootings.
