SAN JOSE (KRON) — Crews are battling a fire in the hills east of San Jose Saturday evening.
According to Cal Fire, the blaze is off of Sierra Road and Calaveras Road in San Jose and it is up to 124 acres and is 75 percent contained.
Crews have called it the Sierra Fire.
The fire started out at 100 acres, and crews were able to bring it down to 80 acres and 40 percent contain.
Fire officials say crews are still on the scene battling this vegetation fire.
