VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Officers are investigating a shooting at a nightclub early Saturday morning that left one man dead.
Officers responded to Club Embassy in the 5400 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard around 1:35 a.m. after dispatchers received a call about a victim with a gunshot wound.
They found a man shot to death, according to Officer Linda Kuehn, a spokesperson for the Virginia Beach Police Department.
Rap artist Jeezy hosted a birthday performance at the club, according to a post on his Facebook page promoting the event.
