SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)—An San Francisco police officer was hospitalized Tuesday morning after his car collided with another car in San Francisco’s Ingleside neighborhood.

The officer was driving on Geneva Ave. at the southbound Interstate 280 exit when the crash happened around 2:20 a.m.

A car went through a red light at the intersection when the officer had a green light. The car hit the officer’s car was hit on the front right side.

The officers has non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The other car, which had two other people inside, stopped at the scene.

The driver has not been arrested.

Police are still investigating the crash.
