(KRON)—-Bart, Homer, Lisa, and Marge Simpson along with the rest of the Simpsons cast will now be a part of the record books.
That’s because the hit animated series has been renewed for another season.
“The Simpsons” will now be entering its 30th season which is a total of 669 episodes.
It will beat the previous record for a TV show which was set by “Gunsmoke.” The show aired 635 episodes.
It may be hard to believe, but the Simpsons started back in 1989 and the rest as they say is history.
