A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection to the hit-and-run of the 14-year-old boy on his bicycle in Oakland on Jan. 2, according to Oakland Police Department.
The suspect is identified as Leah Conner, who is currently in police custody.
Around 12:23 p.m. in early Jan. officers were notified of a hit-and-run in the 1100 block of 35th Avenue.
Authorities say the boy was dragged for at least four blocks behind the car. The boy was left in the street severely injured.
Officials did find the car nearby but it had been abandoned.
