A Scotts Valley man is behind bars on Wednesday after being linked to an indecent exposure case in Milpitas.

Police say 59-year-old Curtis Vanmill was seen inappropriately touching himself inside a car last week. 

When they located him, they say they found several pornographic images.

Vanmill was arrested for indecent exposure and possession of child porn.

He is being held at the Santa Clara County Jail.

Indecent Exposure Suspect Arrested DATE: March 5, 2018 LOCATION: 1000 Block N. Abbott Avenue CASE #: 18-064-079 SUSPECT #1: Curtis Dale Vanmill, 59-year-old male, Scotts Valley resident SUSPECT VEHICLE: 2005 Toyota Scion, red On March 5, 2018, at approximately 1:02 P.M., Milpitas Police officers responded to the area of the 1000 block of N. Abbott Avenue on a report of a suspicious man seen masturbating inside a red vehicle. Officers arrived in the area and located a man, who matched the description, sitting in a parked red vehicle. During the course of the investigation, officers searched the vehicle and located adult pornographic material, sexual paraphernalia, and a brief case containing suspected child pornography. The man was identified as Curtis Dale Vanmill, a 59-year-old Scotts Valley resident, who was arrested and taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for indecent exposure and possession of child pornography. The Milpitas Police Department would like to thank the community for their support and role in helping assist in the capture of this individual.
