San Ramon police have arrested a 46-year-old man accused of sex acts against multiple children, authorities said.
Police first got a tip on Mar. 16 that Thomas Jon Pancoast committed lewd and lascivious acts against children, officers said.
The crimes took place in the last three years, police said. Police arrested Pancoast at his San Ramon home.
The following charges have been filed:
- (11) Counts of PC288(a) – Lewd and Lascivious Act on Child Under 14
- (2) Counts of PC261(a)(3) – Rape of Intoxicated Woman
- (5) Counts of PC288(c)(1) – Lewd and Lascivious Acts on a Minor 14-15.
- (2) Counts of PC289(e) – Sexual Penetration by Object on Intoxicated Person
Pancoast is being held on $12.7 million bail.
Four victims have come forward, and police believe there are more.
