Warriors superstar Kevin Durant wanted to play Tuesday night against the Indiana Pacers but the coaching staff held him out as a precaution.
Steve Kerr was asked about the status of Durant before the game.
“He’s doing great. He wanted to play tonight, but we didn’t let him,” Kerr said. “We’ll probably let him play Thursday.”
Durant has missed the last six games with a rib injury he suffered in the March 11 loss at Minnesota.
The Warriors will surely welcome Durant and his near seven-foot stature back as they host a lengthy Milwaukee Bucks team on Thursday night.
