A 34-year-old Illinois man was rescued from a burning car early Saturday morning by two Good Samaritans.

The Aurora Police Department got it on camera.

Jose Martinez, who lives near the crash location, pulled the man from his burning car and then Devin Johnson joined in, pulling him further from the accident.

According to Aurora police, the driver was charged with multiple traffic offenses, including a DUI.

He was taken to the hospital for burns and non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say had Martinez and Johnson not stepped in to help, the driver would not have lived.
