Crews are battling a 15-acre blaze Sunday morning in the City of Coachella, according to Cal Fire officials.
The fire was first reported around 8:30 a.m. in the area of Tyler St. and Vista Del Sur.
Officials are calling this the “Tyler Fire.”
It is burning about 6 miles from where the Coachella music festival is happening and is only 10% contained, officials said.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival just started on Friday and runs through April 22nd.
