OGDEN, Utah (News4Utah) – Police in Ogden say a man suspected of kidnapping and sexual abuse may have hurt more people.

Genaro Gabino De Jesus was booked into Weber County Jail on charges of aggravated kidnapping and forcible sexual abuse on April 6.

Investigators say they have linked De Jesus to other cases that are in the process of being screened by the Weber County Attorney’s Office. 

The victims have been ages 14, 17, 18 and 29. He is accused of approaching or following victims in one of his vehicles and in various locations. Investigators say he offered rides to the victims at bus stops, parking lots or when they were walking by appearing friendly.

Police say De Jesus could have committed these crimes anywhere in Utah as well as the southwestern United States including Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and California.
