Disturbing video out of Colorado shows the moment an off-duty FBI agent loses his gun and accidentally shoots another person.
It happened early Saturday in a Denver distillery after the agent did a backflip to amuse patrons.
Police say the shooting appears to have been accidental.
The off-duty agent was at Mile High Spirits around 12:45 a.m. when he does a backflip and the gun discharges as he picks it up, striking another bar patron in the leg.
What we don’t know is whether the off-duty agent was carrying his own gun or if it was bureau-issued.
The male victim was taken to a nearby hospital where we’re told he has a good prognosis.
The FBI agent was taken to police headquarters for questioning but was not arrested.
He was later released to an FBI supervisor.
The Denver DA will determine whether any charges will be filed.
