(WCMH) – A small tweak to a minor emoji is making some waves around the Internet.
Google UX manager Jennifer Daniel announced on Twitter Wednesday that the company is removing the egg from the salad emoji, “making this a more inclusive vegan salad.”
The tweet sparked some humorous reactions.
Daniel later clarified that the real reason for the change was to make it more faithful to its Unicode description.
