Firework sales have begun in the Bay Area.
Dublin was the first city to start selling “safe-and-sane” fireworks. They opened sales on Thursday at noon.
Pacifica is also in on the fun, also opening up sales on Thursday afternoon.
Soon to join them are Watsonville, Union City, Petaluma, and a handful of other cities.
Gilroy is the only city in Santa Clara County where “safe-and-sane” fireworks are allowed.
Each city allowing fireworks has restrictions on where they can be set off, so make sure to play by the rules.
The Fourth of July is on Wednesday.
