(WCMH) – A driver in Minnesota drove through more than a thousand feet of freshly poured concrete last week.

It happened in southeast Minnesota Thursday on Highway 63 and White Bridge Road in Olmsted County, Minnesota.

KAAL reported workers will have to tear up the damaged concrete to make repairs. The estimated cost is around $100,000.

According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the driver was cited.

“Don’t make this costly mistake, never go around construction signs or move cones to enter work zone,” MnDOT said on Twitter.
