A house fire is impacting some AC Transit lines in Oakland Tuesday morning.
Around 4:20 a.m. the fire was reported in the area of International Blvd. and 52nd Ave.
AC Transit lines 1 and 801 are on detour and not stopping on International Blvd. between 50th Ave to Seminary Ave at this time.
Flames were immediately showing from the roof and second story windows. Firefighters could not immediately attack the fire because they could not gain access to the home, officials said.
Still, crews were able to knock the fire within 30 minutes of arriving on scene.
No injuries are reported and it does not appear anyone is displaced at this time.
Neighbors tell the fire department they believe the homeowner is on vacation.
“One firefighter had minor burn injuries to his back when an ember fell down his jacket,” the fire department said. He was treated on the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
