The ever so trendy avocado is about to become even more trendy.
Avocados the size of your head are being sold in specialty shops in Australia, CNN reports.
“The Avozilla”, as it has been dubbed, weighs approximately four pounds. They’re about four times the size of regular avocados and can be spread over 18 pieces of toast.
The super-sized fruit is a cross between the West Indian and Guatemalan avocado breeds.
“Often big fruit and big vegetables don’t taste as good as the smaller ones but in this case, they really do. They are a very good eating fruit,” farmer Dave Groves told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
“The Avozillas” cost just under $9 (AU$12) a piece.
It’s not yet known when they will be heading to the United States.
