Three more teenagers were arrested in a hammer attack that injured three boys who were sleeping in an Aptos garage, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff.
In total, four Watsonville teenage boys, a 15-year-old and three 16-year-olds, were arrested in connection to the attack.
At around 1:40 a.m. on May 28, several masked men entered a home on Monte Vista Drive in Aptos and assaulted three teenagers who were sleeping.
The victims, ages 16 and 17, suffered significant head injuries. The oldest victim required care at a trauma center.
