Dozens of families boogied down during the San Francisco Public Library’s 10th annual Tricycle Music Festival.
This year the library kicked off the event by partnering up with the SF MOMA where the Oakland Emmy-nominated group called “Alphabet Rockers” performed.
It was a packed house in the Phyllis Wattis Theater.
This is the first of nine free concerts the library is hosting within the next month.
“Music is really important in early literacy and it allows children to learn new vocabulary and new skills. It also allows them to experience live performance. At the library we like to provide children new experiences especially in their early development.”
At the end of each show, one lucky person wins a brand new red tricycle.
The next concert will be next Saturday at the library’s Parkside branch.
