41 Marriott hotel workers in San Francisco have been arrested after blocking traffic during protests.
3,000 Bay Area Marriott employees went on strike last week demanding better pay, better worker safety, and job security.
Many people say their pay with Marriott forces them to work more than one job to pay for rent and bills.
The strike is expected to continue as workers with the Union Unite Local 2850 say they spent months in negotiations and nothing happened so they’re not backing down now.
Marriott workers are striking at seven different Marriott hotels in the city.
Marriott officials have not responded for comment yet.
