A trespasser was hit on the tracks at the Redwood City Caltrain Station on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident involving Southbound train No. 258 was reported at around 4:18 p.m.
There were about 500 people onboard the train.
There have been no injuries to passengers.
Caltrain had first reported this was a fatality, but it now says the person is responsive and has been taken to the hospital.
