Over 3,000 customers affected by power outage in Danville

DANVILLE, Calif. (KRON) — A power outage Wednesday afternoon has affected 3,298 Danville residents, according to the town’s Twitter account.

As of 2:50 p.m., the power has been restored in most areas.

88 customers are still waiting for their power to come back on, according to Danville officials.

According to PG&E’s map, most of the outages affected customers on the east side of Highway 680 northbound.

Officials did not release the cause of the outage.
