Being an adult is hard work.

That’s why one high school in Kentucky is hoping to prepare its graduating seniors by hosting an “Adulting Day” this week.

Seniors at Bullitt Central High School were taught various “adulting” tasks including proper financing, dorm-life cooking, how to change a tire, and more, according to WAVE 3.

“I think that the idea occurred to me, originally, I saw a Facebook post that parents passed around saying they needed a class in high school on taxes, and cooking,” Christy Hardin, director of the BCHS Family Resource & Youth Services Center, told WAVE 3.

Students also learned from police how to interact with officers at traffic stops.

Do you think it’s a smart move that high schoolers learn how to properly “adult”?
