SAN JOSE (KRON) — Northbound I-280 in San Jose is shutdown after a propane tank rolled over on an onramp to I-880 Friday night. The California Highway Patrol is saying the freeway is closed from I-280 to southbound Highway 17.
Cleanup efforts are underway, officials say.
As of 9 p.m., there is no estimated time of reopening.
Officials are calling this a “severe traffic alert” and advise drivers to take another route.
