FOLSOM (KRON) — The state department of corrections is searching for a minimum security inmate who escaped on Saturday from Folsom State Prison.
The inmate, 27-year-old Justin Franks, was found missing during an inmate county Saturday night.
Franks was serving a three-year, four-month term for a first-degree burglary in San Bernardino County.
The inmate was expected to be released from custody in June.
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation describe Franks as a white male, 5’10” with blue eyes and short black hair. He was seen last dressed in a blue shirt and blue pants that say “CDCR Prisoner.”
