SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – Lembrent Rubin, a Vallejo resident, is sentenced to 89 months for an armed pharmacy robbery.

In addition to his prison term, Rubin will receive a three-year supervision term upon release.

Rubin pleaded guilty on Oct. 13, 2021. The 37-year-old seated alone in a San Francisco pharmacy. Rubin forced his way behind the pharmacy counter as the pharmacist opened the door. Rubin pulled a handgun on the pharmacist and demanded prescriptions, officials say. The pharmacist placed the drugs into Rubin’s bag and sounded an alarm system.

Rubin left and took several hundreds of various pills, police say.

Two weeks later, the suspect was found and arrested. Police located Rubin’s apartment and found more guns, ammunition, and pills matching imprints from the robbery.

Rubin is being held in custody to face firearm and vehicle charges that followed his current arrest.
