Authorities are advising those out and about in the Bay Area today to be cautious as heavy winds sweep the area for most of the day.
Fremont Police Department, which said it has received several “wind-related calls today,” tweeted a photo of a tree knocked by the wind on Liberty Street between Sundale and Walnut, which is currently closed as crews work to remove the tree.
Additionally, Fremont PD says there may be an extended response time for non-urgent matters due to heavy call volume as they receive “numerous alarm activations throughout the city.”
