New Year’s celebrations have gone dark in some parts of Vallejo on Monday night.
Major power outages have been reported throughout Vallejo affecting over 4,000 customers.
Around 5:05 p.m. the first outage was reported.
PG&E is still investigating the cause of the outage that has affected 3,425 customers.
They plan to have it fully repaired as of 3 a.m. on New Year’s Day, however, as for 11 p.m., the outage was reduced to 93 customers.
The second outage was reported around 6:51 p.m.
PG&E has determined that this outage was caused by an equipment issue and crews are working to repair the power for the 869 customers.
This smaller outage was restored as of 9:48 p.m.
